Before the Polls Open

      The voting machines sit on a tripod device that has a curtain enclosure to protect the voting device and provide voting secrecy. These are all set up prior to Election Day. In addition, the connecting mechanisms for each of the various devices are laid out and counted prior to Election Day. The box to hold the printed audit trail from the system is put in place before to the election in a secure manner.

      The voting machine switch selection panels are located in each precinct on Election Day prior to voting. The number of panels provided relates to the number of registered voters in the precinct. A voting booth is set up for each voting panel that is set up.
