CD

      The entire software system is wrapped in encryption on a CD in preparation for the election.  During the time the system is most vulnerable to fraud, after the CD has left the election official’s headquarters for transport to the precinct and until the election officials take control of the CD at the hour just before the polls open, the CD is protected by encrypting the contents of the CD.  The CD is placed in a sealed envelope, and protected in this manner.  It is further protected by encryption.
