Firmware Specifications

      Firmware is used to recognize switch activation, and to send a signal to the hub controller to indicate a switch has been pushed.  The firmware is also responsible for turning the lights on and off in response to Voting Logic.  Only valid selections turn on a given light.  Voters can change their mind at any time, and the firmware must allow them to see their changing selections.
